Save Time by Using a Social Media Dashboard
I've been asked countless times about what tools are the best to use for social media management. There are many amazing tools with different price points. My goal is always to find the most powerful tools, that are easy to learn, for the most economical price.
Whether you just manage your own social media platforms, or you manage a lot like I do, it's difficult to operate without using a social media dashboard. You don't have to of course, but you'll spend time checking each platform to see if someone commented or have loads of notifications on your phone when someone does. To avoid missing comments and questions, it's a time and stress reducer to have the ability to check, respond, schedule and grow multiple social media channels from one place.
I've tried many dashboards and hands down, my favorite is eClincher (affiliate link.) I use it to schedule posts, set up queues of auto-posts, manage new followers, and respond to mentions and questions. It's a one-stop shop to keep my head above water, and my social media management under control.
Specifically, this is why I use this platform:
An Easy Way To Monitor Interactions
If someone asks a question, mentions an account or is a recent follower I want to respond quickly. I can do this with an integrated inbox. What I especially love is that I can filter the inbox if I'm in a hurry. So if I log in I can select to only see mentions for all accounts, or I can segment the inbox by one account or one social media channel. eClincher makes it easy for me to respond to each post as I can hover over a name to see how many follows they have, I can add a new follower to a list and I can even follow someone on twitter from a different account. I can retweet, comment, like or reply all from the platform.
Lots of Options for Publishing Social Media Posts
Within the publishing tab I can post something now, can schedule it for the future, can set a post to go out every day/week/month, I can set different times and dates for scheduling posts and I can add posts to an auto-post series. This last feature is very powerful and is often something you have to use a separate paid program to achieve. With auto-post, for example, you can place 12 posts in the sequence and schedule them to be posted once a week at 9am. When the last post in the sequence has been posted, it will start over. So, it's like a continuous posting loop that you can add new content to. This is a major time saver and can really help you automate your content posting in a customized way.
Makes Creating and Posting Social Media Graphics Easy
Before using eClincher, I used to have to create a graphic in a separate program, save it to my computer and then upload it to a social media channel. As you can see below, e-Clincher has Canva, Giphy and Pixabay integrated into the publishing tab so you can easy add a photo or even create a quote graphic without leaving the platform. You can also easily add a photo from your computer and even better, when you add a link to a post, eClincher automatically draws up a photo from the post that you can include. These are all major time savers! If you don't have an image for your post or don't care for the one that accompanies the post, you can choose one from the 700,000 images associated with this platform which you can easily edit. I've even created a graphic with a text overlay quickly for a post without having to leave the program.
Great Social Media Analytics
If you're posting, you'll want to measure the effectiveness of what you do. e-Clincher tells me the best time to post on Facebook and helps me identify my top influencers within Twitter. It also gives me growth charts, demographic info of followers and engagement info in chart format that I can use for my own benefit or share with clients.
A Tool To Engage with Twitter Followers
This platform also gives me info I need to help me develop online relationships. When I receive a new follower I can easily view their recent posts, view their followers, see who they are following as well as any recent direct messages we've exchanged. This is very helpful when deciding who to follow, or to help grow my own followers.
Activity Feeds for Viewing and Saving Auto Posts
If you're a fan of Hootsuite, you'll find a similar feature where you can view in column format the activity log of a particular account or even set up favorite feeds. One component of this that I find helpful is being able to save a post I've created on Facebook to an auto-feed for future posting.
I've tried many, many platforms and this platform has consistently given me more for the price. In addition, the customer service has been out of this world outstanding.
If you are using eclincher, I'd love to hear what you think and how you use this platform to simplify your social media activity.
